Factor 2 Security
At our Swan Hill Credit Union, we know that the security and integrity of our Internet Banking system is paramount to protect our member's funds and personal information.
As a result, we have introduced an additional security measure which means your login will consist of:
Member Number
Access Code
Factor 2 Icons
You will be required to follow the below steps:
| 1. | Login
Login to Direct Link Internet Banking and enter your member number and pass code in the normal manner, you will be asked to register your personal icons by making a selection of three memorable icons from a catalogue of available images
The registration request will look like:
Click on "Register your Personal Icons" to make your selection. You will be given a choice of categories, each category has a set of different icons you can choose from. You must select three icons to be your passcode from any of the categories presented. Examples of topics include: food, music, holidays, animals, etc. Some typical examples of the icons are shown below: The three icons you select will become your personal Factor 2 Passcode.
|
| 2. | Enter your Personal Icons
When you log in you will be presented with a set of nine randomly displayed icons, as shown below:
You must select your personal selection of three icons, in the correct order from left to right. If you have not previously set your personal Icons, the Factor 2™ Personal Icons register page will automatically appear.
|
| 3. | After Selection:
When you have made the correct selection the normal welcome to Direct Link will appear as usual. If an error is made you will be logged out of the system immediately and you must log back in from the start.
|
| 4. | Forgotten Factor 2 Passcode:
If you have forgotten your Factor 2 personal icon passcode, you will need to contact the Credit Union to have your passcode reset in the normal manner. You will then have to create a new Factor 2 personal icons passcode again.
We understand this is inconvenient, however with continuing Internet fraud using sophisticated scams, we would be remiss not to do everything possible to keep up security for our members.
